CLAIRE English has been appointed to the role of Head of Fleet in Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, replacing David Hanna who recently took over as Head of Service and Parts for the brand.
English has been with the VW Group since she joined the company on the graduate scheme in 2003, gaining experience in Sales Operations and Marketing with both ŠKODA and VW Passenger Cars.
Most recently, as National Contract Hire and Leasing Manager, she has been an integral member of the Volkswagen Passenger Cars fleet team, playing a key role in the ongoing development of the brand’s fleet strategy.
In her new role, English will be responsible for all fleet sales, through the five area sales managers and key and central account managers, rental and leasing managers and the Local Business Development Managers within the brand’s 72 Van Centres.
