Filling your van: fuel duty puts up diesel cost

Fuel duty rises 1.84p at midnight

The price of fuel is increasing.

The Chancellor announced the latest 1.84p rise in the price of fuel duty in the Pre-Budget Report last year.

The rise will affect the diesel you put in your van or pick-up. The total VAT-inclusive rise is 2.12p per litre if you are unable to reclaim the VAT. The rise also affects petrol prices.
