The Steed comes with a good level of standard equipment as well as a competitive price tag

VALUE-for-money pick-up maker Great Wall has added two new dealerships to its retail network. The new outlets are in Tredington, Warwickshire, and Crumlin, County Antrim.

The Chinese-made Great Wall is the lowest-price double-cab 4×4 available in the UK and also the most economical to run. The pick-up is powered by a 2.0-litre, 16-valve turbo-diesel engine, which achieves class-leading fuel economy of 34.0 mpg (combined), according to official figures.

Despite its competitive pricing, which starts from £13,998 (CVOTR), the Steed comes with a good level of standard equipment. It also has best-in-class insurance ratings – 7A for the Steed S and 8A for the range-topping Steed SE.

And all Steeds come with a six-year / 125,000 warranty – the only vehicle in its segment to do so.
