MANAGING risk, maximising benefits, and reducing running costs all matter to business van managers whether you’re a sole trader or run a fleet of vans.
They’re all on the agenda at the Freight Transport Association’s first Van Excellence conferences which kick off in Sheffield on 2 May. Follow-ups are in Windsor on 16 May and Dunblane on 29 October.
Key sessions will include vehicle specs, van technology, VOSA’s view of enforcement in the world of vans, as well as current and upcoming legislative issues, all targeted at improving the management and cost efficiency of business vans.
FTA’s head of vans Mark Cartwright told Business Vans: “These events will give van operators best advice from a practical, operational viewpoint. It doesn’t matter whether they are Van Excellence members or not, these conferences are designed to benefit anyone who operates business vans.”
Book before 28 February for the ‘early bird’ rate of £285+VAT per delegate. After that the cost to FTA members is £325+VAT and £385+VAT for non-members.
The conferences are sponsored by Van Excellence Industry Partners ATS Euromaster, Hertz and Route Monkey.
