OUR favourite new Volkswagen T6, the Caravelle Generation Six limited edition is finally available in the UK.
This Caravelle pays tribute to the iconic original camper van of the 1960s and highlights include one-off two-tone red and white paint, 18-inch DISC alloy wheels, LED headlights and tail lights, and privacy glass to all rear windows and ‘Generation Six’ badging on the door pillar.
Other features include front fog lights with cornering function, chrome grille detailing, and folding and electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors,
The inside of the Caravelle Generation Six limited edition is as special as the exterior, with exclusive Alcantara and leather trim, heated front seats, a leather-covered multi-function steering wheel, and step illumination with ‘Generation Six’ lettering, Dark silver brushed trim and a decorative colour insert across the dashboard to match the two-tone exterior.
Technical treats include Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) including Front Assist, a Discover Media infotainment / navigation system, which also has DAB and Bluetooth and 3-zone Climatronic air conditioning.
The Generation Six is available with a choice of two power outputs, both using the new EU6 2.0 TDI engine with 7-speed DSG gearbox, one with 150 PS and the second with 204 PS.
The Caravelle Generation Six can be ordered now from Volkswagen Van Centres and costs from £52,051 (RRP OTR incl. VAT), with the first due to start arriving in the UK from November.
