There are four engines to choose from – 110, 130 and 150PS units – and the especially clean and frugal e-HDi 130 Airdream version that tops out at 42.8mpg in the smallest of the panel vans.
Another boost to operating costs is in the form of Citroen’s Teletrac telematics platform which is fitted as standard on the panel vans. Teletrac includes Smartnav and stolen vehicle tracking.
The new Citroen Relay is also one of a newly emerging generation of vans that take the ‘mobile office’ seriously. Citroen’s paid extra attention to cab comfort and there’s masses of in-cab storage to cope with laptops, tablets and mobiles, as well as full connectivity.
