ALPHABET, the leasing and business mobility specialist, has launched a new light commercial vehicle approved partner network in the UK.

The new Alphabet LCV network will be headed up by Network Development Manager, Tony Long.

Alphabet believes that the LCV network will enable it to perform with a consistent quality and approach to service levels and will also help them provide the most appropriate LCV solutions at competitive prices for business van customers.

Working alongside Alphabet’s existing commercial vehicle team, the new network will help to provide businesses with guidance and advice through the complex process of LCV preparation, maintenance, specification and disposal.

The network – which will be starting with immediate effect – is made up of 12 LCV conversion suppliers and will encompass seven key categories:

  • Internal van provision
  • Livery and media
  • Construction body and dry freight
  • Welfare vehicles
  • Minibus and wheelchair accessible vehicles
  • Refrigerated vehicles
  • Livery and media

COO at Alphabet, Matt Sutherland, said:“We are delighted to announce the launch of our new LCV approved partner network, this is the first step in our plan to develop and grow the LCV area of our business significantly over the next couple of years.

“In order to do this, we needed to ensure that we sourced a network which is fit for purpose and meets our requirements as we grow in the area, and this partnership does exactly that.

“We selected a range of highly experienced and dedicated LCV conversion suppliers, and have been able to provide them with the tools and support needed to enhance our LCV offering.  All suppliers have an implementation plan which we will be working through together over the coming months, with this in mind we are expecting big things for 2015.”
