The new entry level Vivaro is £450 less than the outgoing model

VAUXHALL’S all-new Vivaro has gone on sale with impressive starting price tag – it’s actually cheaper than the outgoing model.

The entry-level Vivaro will cost £17,995 (ex-VAT) – £450 less than the van it replaces.

The new Vauxhall Vivaro will be available in four body styles – panel van, double-cab, nine-seater combi and platform cab – and in two trim levels – Vivaro and Vivaro Sportive.

Prices for the nine-seater combi range from £25,699 to £27,749 on-the-road including VAT, while the platform cab ranges from £20,658.33 to £21,858.33 excluding VAT.

Vauxhall says the all-new Vivaro has an enhanced cabin, designed for comfort and control with high levels of specification including modern infotainment with DAB radio. It also offers class-leading build quality and practicality with improved cargo dimensions and excellent payload capability, says the company.

It’s offered with a range of engines including a Bi-Turbo that delivers up to 47.9mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 155g/km.
