VAN operators can now access a broader range of vehicle models available through Northgate Vehicle Hire which has extended its electric offering with 25 new vehicles.
A fleet of 25 Nissan ENV200 Accenta vans will be available to Northgate’s customers from July and can be reserved now.
The new fleet joins the company’s existing electric vehicle (EV) line-up, which includes a range of full-electric and 24 hybrid vehicles.
Northgate continues to work closely with manufacturers to bring new technologies on board as they become available.
EVs have already been successfully piloted with some of the company’s customers and the expansion of the electric fleet highlights Northgate’s commitment to enabling customers to address the growing concerns around environmental pollution.
The pure-electric Nissan ENV200 Accenta vans feature a 40kWh battery delivering up to an additional 60% of range and the rear cargo space offers great versatility to install racking as required.
As the van produces zero emissions while driving, it is a good choice for any business operating in London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) which now penalises all pre-Euro 6 diesel vans (and pre-Euro 4 petrol vans) that enter the capital with a £12.50 fee.

“We also offer to buy our customers’ old vans and rent them newer models, so that they can reduce their environmental footprint and invest the freed-up capital in business growth.”
