BUTCH builders are not the main target for the new Nissan NP300 Navara as the factory eyes up the company driver keen on a ‘crossover’ pick up with benefit in kind (BIK) tax attractions.

Nissan has gone to great lengths to improve comfort and refinement while maintaining the NP300 Navara’s off-road ability, durability and loading capacity.

Navara high-spots

  • Striking new exterior and interior, engineered for the ‘crossover’ experience;
  • Executive car technologies and high equipment levels including Around View Monitor, NissanConnect and LED headlamps;
  • New 2.3-litre dCi engine delivers improved performance, fuel economy and lower emissions;
  • One tonne payload and 3.5 tonne towing capabilities;
  • Class-leading five year or 100,000 mile manufacturer warranty.

Using the same crossover DNA that produced landmark passenger cars such as the class-leading Qashqai, X-Trail and Juke, Nissan claims the NP300 Navara brings a new level of car-like refinement, style, comfort and quality, as well as first in class technologies to the pick-up market.

It also introduces a market-first five-year or 100,000-mile manufacturer warranty to provide additional peace of mind for lifestyle oriented customers.

Nissan has designed an all-new five-link rear suspension system for the Double Cab model, claiming significantly improved ride comfort and handling while it is 20kg lighter than the previous leaf spring layout.

In-line with Nissan innovation, the new NP300 Navara introduces an array of new in-car technology.

Around View Monitor and Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) are unique to the pick-up market. Further safety and convenience features include Cruise Control, Hill Descent Control (HDC) and Hill Start Assist (HSA), all of which have been developed to meet the specific demands of NP300 Navara owners, as well as keyless entry, rear camera and parking sensors.
