KEOLISAMEY Docklands, the joint venture that holds the franchise to operate and maintain London’s Docklands Light Railway, has taken delivery of a mixed fleet of 27 Peugeot LCVs.

The fleet includes models from the Partner, Expert and Boxer van and crew van ranges, the Traveller Business passenger range and the Peugeot Built for Business conversions range.

The vehicles will be used for a wide variety of duties, with panel vans equipped by specialist converter Bott to carry the necessary tools and equipment.

The new Peugeot fleet has been funded by Groupe PSA Free2Move Lease. The vehicles have been supplied on a three-year, full maintenance contract hire agreement, which includes a replacement vehicle, where needed, within four hours. The vehicles are expected to cover between 8,000-10,000 miles per year.

Martin Gurney Groupe PSA UK Fleet Director, said: “KeolisAmey Docklands needs a wide range of vehicles capable of supporting the varied work their franchise entails.

“The extensive nature of the Peugeot LCV range has ensured that we can provide a variety of models and converted vehicles to meet the demands placed on a specialist fleet operating in central London, often in restricted spaces.”
