“We get all the sign writing work and a range of accessories at trade prices and will finance the whole package, so as result the cash flow situation works better for the customer.
“For example, the average van buyer can spend £750 plus VAT once he has taken delivery by adding the accessories and signage to the van.
“We can incorporate all this into a monthly payment, rather than the tradesman having to pay for it on top.”
And the disappearance of white? According to Bunn it’s all to do with the van not only being a working vehicle but also a family runabout – especially for small, one-man businesses.
“Plumbers, carpenters, builders and electricians no longer have to compromise on quality or comfort in their van – in fact many are able to run one vehicle as both a workhorse and as the family transport,” Bunn says.
“All this is great news for the van owner as it provides a cost effective way to manage the business and family vehicle requirements.
