VAUXHALL has presented a gleaming new Vivaro to the winner of a nationwide competition run with TradePoint, B&Q’s trade arm and provider of building supplies.

The Vivaro Sportive L1H1 2700 1.6 CDTi van was won by delighted David Mellers of Tollbar Services, an independent digital media installer, who needs on a reliable vehicle to service clients right across Europe and said: “I’ll make great use of its versatility and capability.”

Made by Vauxhall in Luton at the UK’s only volume van plant

Made by Vauxhall in Luton at the UK’s only volume van plant, the Vivaro giveaway was part of a launch campaign which saw Vauxhall team up with TradePoint to display the new van at selected TradePoint outlets.

The van was handed over by Kevin O’Hanlon, Vauxhall’s CV development manager for the North West, who said it was a “hugely successful campaign”, and Stuart Cox, divisional trade partner at TradePoint Macclesfield. The vehicle was prepared by Pentagon Oldham, overseen by business centre manager Jane Dervan.

Stuart Cox added: “We’re delighted to hand over the Vivaro to David – he’s a highly-successful local business owner and now he has a new set of wheels to take him into 2015 and beyond.”
