The new Renault Trafic platform will form the basis of the new van
IN a new joint venture, it has been announced that Renault will build a new van for Fiat at their Sandouvillle, Normandy plant.
The as yet un-named Fiat van, will go into production before the summer of 2016.
The deal was announced when Renault Group chairman and CEO Carlos Ghosn hosted a visit to the plant by Emmanuel Macron, France’s Minister for the Economy & Industry to mark this week’s start of Trafic production.
