THE Renault Trafic enjoyed its world premiere at the CV Show today (29 April).

The all-new Renault Trafic offers tradespeople an ideal ‘office on wheels‘ cab – demonstrated by Mike Willis, Renault Trafic product manager in the photo – including a removable clipboard, storage for a laptop, assorted power points, and cradles for both tablets and smart phones.

Inventive storage solutions include a double cat flap that allows lengths of up to 4.12m to be carried, while a storage rack within the load bay can be specified, which is ideal for expensive items – such as copper – that you want to be hidden safely from view.

The new all-new Renault Trafic also includes a wide range of body styles.

There are two different heights to choose from, two different lengths, a panel van – on display at NEC Renault stand – a crew van, platform cab plus a variety of approved Renault conversions.

Lowered running costs are also part of the package with a 1.6 dCi single turbo engine offering 90hp and 115hp, while a Twin-Turbo version with Stop-Start fuel saving technology (120hp and 140hp) can boost economy to more than 47mpg, says Renault.

The all-new Renault Trafic goes on sale later this year, including the ability to buy it off the shelf fully racked thanks to Renault’s new Ready 4 Work initiative – see Renault launches Ready 4 Work range.

As well as the new Trafic, Renault also launched a revised version of its heavy van, the Master – see Revised Renault Master launched at CV Show.
