BEST described as an evolution rather than revolution, the all-new, sixth-generation Volkswagen Transporter made its debut at a glitzy premier in Amsterdam.

Outside, the latest evolution of a 65 year old formula looks very similar to the outgoing T5. However, look closer and the latest, sharper Volkswagen family design has made it on to the popular commercial.

Like the Caddy, the launch of an all-new T6 has meant that Volkswagen can load it full of its latest clever safety kit

At the front of the T6, this equals a curvier bonnet, new front lights with the option of full LEDs on some models, grille and bumper.
From the side, there are sleeker-looking wing mirrors, a standard passenger side sliding door and new 16”, 17” and 18” wheels.

While the back, like the front, gets new taillights. Plus, a new tailgate design and new number plate lighting.

Like the Caddy, the launch of an all-new T6 has meant that Volkswagen can load it full of its latest clever safety kit. These include the Driver Alert System that can detect the driver’s tiredness, the post-collision braking system and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
