Martin Hammill, Citroen’s new fleet boss

Story: RALPH MORTON

Citroen’s man at the commercial vehicle wheel will be delivering a new message from today (09 July, 2012).

Martin Hamill puts on his best suit and tie to become fleet director at Citroen. The former head of commercial vehicles & business sector is taking over the fleet director hot seat following the departure of Andy Wady for an appointment outside Citroen.

“I’m delighted to take up this important role at such an exciting time for Citroen,” said Martin on his appointment today.

“The introduction of the DS line and initiatives like our Business Class programme have changed the way we’re perceived right across the industry. We will continue to further build our presence and therefore volumes in the years to come.”

Martin is no stranger to Citroen. Now aged 45, he joined Citroën 13 years ago first as an area fleet manager looking after Citroen’s Midlands-based fleet car and business vans. Subsequent appointments include commercial manager, and national fleet operations manager.

Martin will report to Linda Jackson, Citroen’s UK MD.
