IT is with great sadness that we report the death of highly respected and knowledgeable automotive journalist, Neil McIntee.
Having worked for titles such as Autosport, Autocar and Which Car?, McIntee moved to What Van? in 1993 at the start of a commercial vehicle career spanning 27 years.
After 16 years at What Van? he established the VansA2Z website. Always a popular member of the commercial vehicle press, both with colleagues and with manufacturers, it was my privilege to have known him on the press circuit for more than 30 years.
McIntee was always inclusive and good company, whether talking cars, vans or music. On leaving university his career started in the music business as an A&R man.
