Autorama Group – which trades primarily under the Vanarama brand – has confirmed the appointment of former Football Association Chairman, David Bernstein, as Group Chairman.
Mr Bernstein, Chairman of The Football Association from 2011-2013, was also previously Chairman of Manchester City.
Mr Bernstein’s experience spans multiple business sectors and will help deal with the increase in demand for commercial vehicles from SMEs
Mr Bernstein’s focus will be assisting Vanarama, a leading provider of commercial vehicle leasing, with its rapid continuance of growth and making the most of any sector opportunities as a result of regulatory changes by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Mr Bernstein’s experience spans multiple business sectors and will help deal with the increase in demand for commercial vehicles from SMEs, particularly in the construction sector; after rebranding in 2013, Vanarama has already seen 120% growth in the past year.
David Bernstein commented on his appointment:
