Vito Sport Line adds dynamic style to mid-size van segment

MERCEDES’ flexible and economical Vito has been giving a sporty lift with a new Vito Sport Line version complete with go-faster stripes, side skirts and new alloy wheels.

It’s being made available throughout Europe for the Vito Panel Van, Mixto and Tourer.

Klaus Maier, Mercedes-Benz Vans head of sales and marketing, said: “The Vito Sport Line combines numerous sporty items of additional equipment to offer a dynamic and attractive overall package for our successful model.”

Outside it’s distinguished by bold vinyl stripes on the bonnet and doors, plus sporty body colour side skirts and bumpers.

Chrome radiator grille, roof rails and windows in the sliding doors on both sides add further highlights, together with tinted privacy glass and heat insulating glass all round helps to keep the interior temperature down in strong sunlight.

A large panoramic roof is also optionally available.

Inside the sporty touch of high quality leather trim for the steering wheel and gearshift is complemented by seats in black artificial leather, velour floor mats and a Chrome Interior package.

For handling and appearance there is taut sports suspension and 18-inch light-alloy wheels (optionally 19-inch) in an exclusive colour.

Vito Sport Line comes in the weight variants 2.8 t, 3.05 t and 3.1 t. Permanent 4×4 all-wheel drive is additionally available as an option, excellent traction further enhancing driving dynamics and handling.

Depending on the selected body variant, the extra cost for the Vito SPORT Line specification ranges between 2,500 euros and 4,100 euros. UK pricing has yet to be announced.
