Everyone is familiar with the RNLI’s work, but at first sight, WUKSART is an improbable waterborne charity. That’s because it’s based in the East Midlands – about as far from the sea as you can get.
In fact there’s plenty of demand for WUKSART’s search and rescue work in provided support to the emergency services in situations like water rescue, flood relief and searching for missing people in adverse weather.
