Triplog automatically documents all driving of Welding Engineers 77 vans

WELDING Engineers has a fleet of 77 business vans that support its business in the manufacture, installation, repair and maintenance of all types of industrial doors and shutters.

With that many vans, and a customer base in industry sectors such as railways, retail and airports, Welding Engineers has branches in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, London, Manchester and Newcastle. So the company needed a way to ensure greater efficiency from its vans.

Step forward ABAX – sponsors of Peterborough FC – with its Triplog technology, which has now been installed on the 77 business vans run by SME firm Welding Engineers.

Triplog automatically documents all driving via GPS, calculates mileage and distance, all to increase efficiency and eliminate the risk of HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) penalty charges.

Kevin Bull, ABAX sales director said:

“One of the key benefits for Welding Engineers is that the Triplog device is self installable, saving the company valuable time and money. The company now has more control of its fleet with our fast and reliable systems.”

James Cassells, director at Welding Engineers, added: “Having a cost-effective vehicle fleet is key to the success of our business. I am sure implementation costs will be recouped quickly.”

ABAX is a Norwegian-owned company, which recently acquired Dutch fleet management specialists Trevler this month. ABAX said it wished to expand its fleet management presence in Europe with products such as Triplog.
