VW is offering a 30-point winter once-over to get your van ready for the weather. De-icing goody bag is included
USUALLY by this time of the year after a nice hot summer, the ice scraper has disappeared under mounds of detritus, the windscreen de-icer has dried up and doesn’t work and as for checking the anti-freeze in the radiator – well, hmmmm yes.
If that scenario accurately sums you up – and you run Volkswagen vans – then we suggest you consider taking advantage of a new Winter Once-Over check being offered by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
For £25 plus VAT (much cheaper than the cost of prang or a breakdown because of negligence!) VW is offering a 30-point EVC (Express Visual Check) covering vehicles’ lights, brakes, fluid top-ups for antifreeze and screen wash and a battery check, including a charge if necessary.
Customers will also receive a ‘Castrol LongLife III one-litre check-it kit’ and a Genuine Accessories Winter Care Pack with a retail value of more than £30. The pack includes super-concentrated screen wash, de-icer, a rubber care stick and an ice scraper.
