The latest additions to the Steed range will be on show at the Midland Game Fair

HOW do you fancy a brand new 4×4 pick-up for your business? Sound good? Well if you’re within striking distance of Weston Park in Shropshire – it’ll help if you’re a dead eye at clay shooting, too – then, get yourself along to the Midland Game Fair, which takes place over the weekend of 14-15 September.

Chinese manufacturer Great Wall is hosting the Great Wall Motor World Series Clay Shooting and Gundog Championships and will be giving away a new Steed Chrome and Tracker pick-up to the winners in each competition.

The show is expected to attract around 90,000 visitors and Great Wall will be showing a range of Steed models – the entry-level Steed S, the luxury SE, and the new Steed Chrome and Tracker.

Three Great Wall dealerships will be at the event (Randells in Staffordshire, Furrows of Shrewsbury and Cheshire-based TWG) and staff will be available to answer questions and arrange test drives.

Prospective customers will be invited to drive on the Fair’s dedicated off-road track to test the Steed’s capabilities, and a team of experienced Great Wall drivers will also be providing passenger rides.

The latest additions to the Steed range will be on show. The new Steed Chrome is intended to be a working vehicle. It has a 2.5-tonne towing capacity and a payload of 1050kg, as well as a number of extras including tinted glass, metallic paint and carpet floor mats.

The more rugged Steed Tracker is a dedicated workhorse, with additional features including General Grabber All-Terrain tyres, over-rail bedliner, a towbar with audible reversing monitor, front and rear mud flaps, plus metallic paint and rubber floor mats.

All Great Wall’s vehicles come with the ‘Great Wall Promise’, which includes an industry-leading six-year/125,000 mile warranty, inflation-proof servicing plans, free pick-up and drop-off, a six-year anti-perforation warranty, three-year paint warranty and roadside assistance.

The Midland Game Fair offers many key events for shooters, including the European Field Target Championships and industry showcases such as Gunmakers Row and Airgun Expo.

In addition to around 600 stands, visitors can see medieval jousters the Knights of Middle England, the Tigers Free Fall Parachute Display Team, the Mid Wales Axe Team, heavy horses, falconers, ferret racing, game and coarse fishing demonstrations and the terrier and lurcher events.
