Claudio Zanframundo: new Iveco managing director
HEAVY van and truck maker Iveco has a new managing director: Claudio Zanframundo.
Claudio takes over as managing director from Luca Sra who is moving to Iveco HQ in Turin to head up the company’s interests in the Middle East and Africa.
Claudio Zanframundo (38) arrives at the company’s UK Watford base following two years as general manager of Iveco Acentro S.p.a.in Sardinia and more than 12 years within Iveco parent company Fiat Group.
Previous posts have included stints at Case New Holland, Fiat Auto, Iveco and Iveco Capital.
“The UK is one of the most important European markets and it is a great privilege to be taking on this role at such an important time,” commented Claudio on his appointment.
“We have just launched an all-new heavy truck line-up at the CV Show, the latest Daily range has been on the road in the UK for just over a year and we have exciting plans for the Eurocargo ahead of Euro VI,” he added.
